Reserva Casillero del Diablo Malbec

Bouquet of black currant, cherry &vanilla; hints of black berry, licorice & pepper. Low on acidity, Medium bodied wine with a dry finish.

Initially I got a lot of dark fruit and heat on the nose. After about 10 minutes the vanilla and oak where on full stage. Maybe some dried fruit? Maybe some slight mint? Quaffing wine.

Very bitter. Smells like rubbing alcohol.

Its fine but not the best $10 can buy. Skip it - bad after taste

2012 vintage. Really digging it. Another great $10 buy.

A bit acidic, but gets smoother if aerated

Trying to taste the individual flavors but failing. A good, inexpensive, end-of-day quaff.

Not truly exciting as Malbecs go. Not much on body low acuity. Pepper finish but should be left to a Sarah. Ah, chile you disappoint me ..
