Tl;DR: Solid Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon for those that appreciate ripeness, but not a perpetual hang on the vine. It’s a food wine. Curious to see how they refine their technique and what the next vintage shows us.
Dark ruby but not completely opaque. Medium + intensity on the nose of black and red currants, and a good dose of bell pepper + toast. Acid medium, tannin medium + and grippy on the cheeks, alcohol medium +. Long finish. Shy on the secondary and tertiary notes, but can see this developing some more leathery characteristics in the next 2-4 years. — 6 months ago

On the nose it’s a symphony across the spectrum of red fruit—the reddest and ripest strawberry, raspberry, red currants, rose, and herbaceousness in the realm of dried thyme. Confirmed on the palate and demonstrating incredible balance. Medium body, medium + acid, medium alcohol, and fine tannin. Lingering finish. No oak/ neutral oak.
