Remember, a wine can be subjectively horrific and objectively glorious. DipWSET candidate. NY, NY
Golden straw in the glass. The wine is youthful with aromas of ripe red apple, fresh sage, and sunflowers. Medium body with a semi-lucious lanolin quality, medium acidity. Lingering finish. Unfaulted wine of superior quality. — 11 days ago
Excellent freshness and complexity. Med+ acidity, med body, and wonderful tones of Bosc pear, white peaches, and the most subtle nuttiness. Confirmed on the palate. Clean finish with a corsage of white flowers. Drink now or hold for another three years. — 17 days ago
I disagree with most reviews here indicating this wine needs a couple years. This was an unremarkable Cabernet franc that time will not fix. I would be curious to experience this again if perhaps they had a barrel where they tossed half a dozen egg whites to precipitate out some of the poorly integrate tannin. The alcohol was also very hot and in its own lane. Curious to try other vintages in case this example was an anomaly. As it stands, this was the equivalent of scrolling in between radio stations—unclear of what it is, and what it wants to communicate. Unfaulted and unremarkable. — 3 months ago
Deep ruby in the glass. The wine is still very youthful, with notes of blackberries and dried herbs. There is a decent amount of oak that’s teetering on the edge of too much. Medium acidity, medium integrated tannin. Finish is distinguished. Unfaulted and a better than satisfactory example of this varietal. Drink now through 2026. — 7 days ago
Light straw, and more restrained in the nose , IMO, than previous vintages. On the nose, green apple, lime zest, and some plastic (very minor however). Very melon-y on the palate, crisp refreshing acidity, and excellent mouthfeel with a medium + finish. Medium + acidity, medium - body. Unfaulted, and above satisfactory in quality. Drink now through 2025. — 17 days ago
Excellent every day dinner wine. — 2 months ago
Medium ruby with medium intensity of red cherries, forest floor, and raspberries. On the palate it lacked intensity. Medium + acidity, medium to medium - body. Medium finish. Drink now. Unfaulted and of satisfactory quality. — 7 days ago
Unfaulted. Satisfactory in quality. Deep golden color and the most Alsatian of noses. Ripe pear, lanolin, honeysuckle and rich mouthfeel. Definitely opened up a bit, and became approachable as it sat for a bit. The palate confirmed [most] of the nose. The alcohol, unfortunately, lacked integration. Med + finish. — 12 days ago
Med + body, med acidity, and distinct aromas of dark red and black fruit, ripe tomato, and some violet. Confirmed on the palate. Tannin and alcohol was incredibly well integrated. Drawn out finish that kept me wanting to take another sip. Perhaps one of the best produced domestic tempranillos I’ve tasted. Would be eager to see how this develops in the next 5-7 years. — 25 days ago

Pale straw in the glass. Nose is a interesting mix of pear, lemon curd, and some terpene action. Extremely fresh. Acidity is medium +, body medium. Finish lingers, medium +. Unfaulted and of superior quality. — 5 days ago
