Med+ acid, medium body with smooth silky integrated tannins. Medium finish but overall so incredibly weightless yet with so much character... showed even better the second night!
What is so impressive is how refreshing and lifted this is amongst so many darker ready wines from this warm vintage!!!

Special pull for last night of a 10 day stint in Vermont and it is terrific! Over performer for the vintage. After a 3 hr decant it just climbed from there and didn’t let up. We were almost licking the last drops. I just can’t get enough.

I may get a "G.B. Burlotto" tattoo. On my face. Amazingly delicate, feminine aromas of lavender, licorice, herbs and spice. Rich and serious on the palate, beautiful texture. A desert island wine, fo-sho.

Much more approachable than the Burlotto 2008 Acclivi. Violets on the nose, nice soft yet savoury texture. Lots of acidity to balance the rich food of crusted lamb rack. Plenty of length too.
