Fruity nose of diesel, limes, citrus, red apples, spices, minerals, sea salt, honey and light tropical fruits.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, crisp and refreshing.
Off dry on the palate with citrus, diesel, minerals, lemons, pears and spices.
Medium on the finish with limes and grapefruits.
This is a simple Riesling from Washington State. Well balanced and refreshing when properly chilled.
Enjoyable by itself or with food like spicy Indian dishes.

Someone showed up to the World Cup Final party with this #Riesling from Trader Joe’s, so naturally, I had to evaluate. ⚽️
Verdict: Not a whole lot going on here. Not much at all. But, admittedly, it’s better than what I’d expect from such an inexpensive bottle.

This is not a favorite. Too acidic for me to even enjoy the taste. Smells like lemons and a bouquet of flowers. Might be a wine I’d have to try with food to enjoy.

Jul 4th, 2018Super smooth!! So easy to drink alone or with food. This is the best Riesling I’ve ever had. I’m glad I picked this bottle. I would definitely buy this again.
