H3 Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon

Spice, big dark fruit, slight dry finish. Good budget wine. Syrupy fruit

This is a great everyday drinker. Aromatic nose, burst of fruit on the palate. Medium-low acid, smooth tannins. Nice warming finish. Black cherry, currant, raspberry, plum. End notes of oak, vanilla, and a hint of cocoa. Adding to my regular rotation.

Excellent wine for $15. Drank the 2016 and it was delicious. Scored a 90 from WS that year. Don’t know about other vintages but this delivered.

Smooth and easy. Very good but missing complexity. No special effects. Buying again but I probably paid too much this time around. $23

Very nice cab

Nice smooth cab with lots of chocolate and coffee notes. Reminds me of mcmanis cab before it got too sweet.

We initially had this at a restaurant and promptly bought a bottle. We will do so again. It's quite dry and very supple and smooth. It may well become our weekend wine. The second glass is as good as the first.
