Interesting blend of Nebbiolo and Croatina, the latter a varietal typically used as a blending wine. It is a small production and not commonly found out of Piedmont. Vivid grenadine color, delicate smell. Initially more aggressive in the mouth, mellows considerably with aeration. The aging in barriques is noticeable, and leaves a remarkable presence of tannins and a good flavor structure. Goes well with meats and some of the most robust regional cheeses from Piedmont.
