Lots of temptation to give this one a 95. In careful consideration, this is a 94. Nose of raspberry, oregano, herb. Palate that is intense, black cherry and raspberry, brambly, earthy. I get a soil and terroir note here. Bleu cheese. Went well with herbed chicken. The finish has a little of black pepper and baking spice. Still a bit of youth here, and I think that this is going to improve quite a bit in the bottle over the next 3 to 5 years. Wow.
