Omg. So good! Perfectly aged. Cherries and macerated strawberries, vivid open roses, tomato leaf, perfectly integrated fine spice notes from the finest French oak, silky smooth mouthfeel. Fresh and elegant. Amazing. Truly one of the all time best aged Cali Pinots that I’ve had. On an “off” vintage too...

All my 2011 bottled last Friday, all with 30 months in barrel. May be my favorite vintage yet from Emmaline Ann.

Improved a lot as it opened, but this wine needs more cellar time. I recanted two hours but would recommend twice that if you are opening soon. I had this wine at a tasting, and it was profound (I'd rate at least a 9.3 or 9.4) but that had been recanted for who knows how long.

Thin, faint berries, shallow finish, not full bodied, - with cantors
