Cibonne
Côtes de Provence Cru Classé Rosé Tibouren

I’ve reviewed this before, but I really didn’t have the same appreciation the first time around. It really is a rose in name only, with a silky orange color, like satin, with a medium texture and a nose of citrus rind, hibiscus, peach skin or some other florals, and a palate that evokes complex, ripe orange, herbs or like, leaves in a way, vegetal, with dried apricot, a beautiful minerality and acid balance, with a lingering finish that emerges somewhat oily, more citrus rind that fruit. It really is delicious, and a surprisingly good pairing for corned beef/egg breakfast blend over a deep dark toast!
