Moulis en Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Drinking at about peak maturity. Pleasant mix of earth, brett, red fruit. Reliably good value from this estate.

Nothing too special or compelling, but that wasn't a bad thing. Just a super fun wine.

Mature. For sure.
Holding up very well, though.
Dust, metal, woodfire, blood. Fury Road.

Lovely wine.
Nice nose, laidback and relaxed, soft earthy palate, black tea, olives, clay, dark fruit, tannines all integrated.

Classic, mature bouquet of Bdx,
slightly reticent, cigarbox, clay and paint, subdued forest fruit.
Roasted coffee, leather and cedar, chewy tannines. Great freshness and wonderfully drinkable.

Chocolate, roasted coffee, lavender, grilled paprika, acrylic paint, damp earth. Powdery and chewy tannins, clay, underbrush, in its secondary state, with great tension and freshness.

Beautiful and delicate. Musty, cedar, oak, and red fruits on the nose with soft tannins and smoky finish. Only negatives are that the fruit falls off mid palate.
