St. Émilion Grand Cru Red Bordeaux Blend

Disappointing. Had a decent nose. Not much complexity and short on the finish. Was not a worth $35

A bit heavy on the oak, but there's a crowd for that! Otherwise well balanced and offering a feast of blackberries & black currants!

2009 very nice bouquet and smooth finish

Decent right bank Bordeaux. Ripe and a bit heavy handed with the oak, but not too of whack. I quite enjoyed this one

Ok good fruit in the nose. Bright cherry. Flavors are a little flat. The tannin is overwhelming the fruit. Just a nice wine. Spicy and a bit oaky.

Nice big red. Deep flavor. Lisa and Patty's wine they shared with me. Yummy!

Perfect example of the region. Toasty notes on the nose with a strong animal scent once you inhale deeply. Slighty spicy almost sausage scent. Deep purple red with low astringency, faint cigar and red berry taste.

Spicy and smooth.

Surprisingly well aged.
