Fantastic with lamb trio! Deeply floral, dark brooding attack. Blue fruit mid palate appears briefly followed by rustic, tannic finish.

It was nice, but there were definitely some oxidative notes coming from all the ripe fruit and heat this wine has. I would definitely recommend drinking this wine within 8/10 years of vintage. A more contemporary style of #Margaux. One person said that tasted blind it reminded some of a Chateaneuf and I completely agree

Sweet oak, juicy plums, leather, tobacco, finely ground rock, hoisin, baking spice. Massive tannins that still need time to calm down. 50% new wood. Oak is sexy but covers up that earthy nuance I want in Bordeaux.
