All Reviews (albeit 4-5 yrs ago) are poor, so I am hoping to find the good! When you find a 2014 in your local grocery wine dept..a must try!
On the nose barnyard at first, violets, milk chocolate, plum, earth, minerals, cherry cordial and black fruit.
Color dark ruby with bricking and a clear rim. Soft tannins, medium bodied and high acidity.
So far the palate is showing licorice, pencil lead, graphite, pepper, plum, mushrooms, cocoa dust and young blackberries.
Post 90+ min. decant..this wine is heavy on earth, minerals and acidity. Definitely makes you search for the fruit, give ample time to open up! Old World in style! A fun wine to decipher!

Really light and almost watery on the back end, but fine for drinking while watching the game ;)

I was disappointed. There’s almost no fruit in this, maybe just a little blackberry and plum. Lots of acidity, though, and some dusty earth and a hint of graphite. But the acid and minerals just aren’t balanced by enough fruit.

Decent French blend. Earth. Lacked depth.

Watery and flat on the back. But drinkable for an average night.

Perfect for a very lovely everyday drinker. Give it a little time to open up in the glass before drinking. Trust me, you will thank me.

Another disappointing bordeaux blend. It's hard to find something tasty when you don't know what you're looking for. Watery, a bit acidic, and no fruit or tannin.
