Still developing Grand Cru Classe Margaux from 1998. This has developed a very deep garnet colour is highly pronounced with obvious black currant and herbal notes. The oak has imparted clove, cedar and wood smoke and time in bottle has given it some dried fruit and mushrooms character. This is balanced well and the tannins have been integrated perfectly with the very herbal palate, giving it a deliciously long finish. #wsetschool
