Holy creamy honeyed semillon ! This lacks the acid I was seeking but still has incredible complexity ... pungent aromas of noble rot with ginger and saffron. Oily texture.

What a beautiful specimen. On the nose, the signature of Sauvignon Blanc is front and center. You can't go wrong. In the mouth, the acidity and the salty side like pebbles on sea shores could be confused with a Chablis but the fruity, honey and fatty taste with the taste of the grass is more than enough not to confuse the two regions. A perfect partner with a dish of clams. old white Bordeaux wines are special!

consistantly good....nose is on lanolin, citrus and grass. The mouth mango citrus with a mineral finish.....ready to drink now

A £52 white Graves that's a lovely drop that should improve 👍 Loaded with rich minerals 💥 maybe too much 🤔
🍇 80% Sauvignon & 20% Semillon
🍷 Golden yellow
👃 Soft lemon, lime & honey w/ smashed minerals, gravel, cracked vanilla pods & hints of yellow banana & unripe pear
👄 Med+ body of creamy young green apples, pear & citrus fruits buried in mineral rocks w/ herby grass tone
🎯 Long mineral driven unripe green & citrus fruits w/ green herbs - at one with nature - descale your teeth after this 😁

Drinking the 2009 in 2016 and it is very much still alive. A very distinct and deep orange-brown hue. A nutty and smokey flavour, with the nuttiness more pronounced if smoother after being allowed to breathe for 30 minutes, by which time comparisons were being made to a dry fino / manzanilla sherry and as a result this is not a wine for quaffing / drinking a lot of; I also think it a wine that works best with or after food. Not a style of wine that I am that familiar with though I can imagine it is a good example of its kind; not wholly to my current taste however.
