Primarily Cabernet Franc with some Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot blended in. Dark ruby/purple color. Aromas of both red and black fruits with additional notes of coffee and violets. Dark berry (blackberry and black currants) on the palate with additional notes of dark chocolate, black licorice and baking spices. Quite oaky on the long finish. Quite ripe and concentrated. Subtle tannins and quite light on the acidity. Needs more bottle age but quite reasonable. Solid QPR.
