Guessed 89 left bank. Incredibly alive. Classic claret with acid, tannin still there, primary fruit . Wow.

In perfect condition with seamlessly integrated structure. A bit green for my taste initially, but it blows off and then it starts to sing. In a great place. An iron fist in a velvet glove, as they say.

Out of magnum. A bit disjointed, especially when we first opened it. It improved after about an hour. No need to hold on to it any longer.

This still has a lot of life in it. It was built to last, still really fresh and alive.

Really fun this one, brought in by a guest, wasn't expecting much, didn't decant, but it showed itself really well, dried dark berry fruit, quite indicative of Latour, really shows how amazing that terroir is, as the '82 is still the best of the 1st growths.

Bright, mature, generous, gracious, fun. Exactly what it should be and completely beautiful for what it is. Perfect bottle.
