Smooth. Decanted for 30 min. Great musty smell to the nose, and tastes like a spicy pinot noir. Top notch!

Damn good stuff! If this is a second wine, I could only guess what the '89 Lafite is looking like?! Beautiful claret.

I really don't even know what to say. The cork was in perfect condition. It was, strangely, tight at first and then just kept opening up in the glass. Bouquet of graphite and leather and very subtle cassis. Could easily go another five years. Full bodied that went perfectly with our NY strip. Cedar and smoke and wet leather with underpinnings of fruit and black fruit. I'm so sad this was my last bottle.
