Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Pretty, menthol, dried leaves, but drying out on palate; austere and fading.

Caught this at the end of its life. The nose has dark fruit, and blood. The palate has totally resolved tannins, and mostly cedar and tobacco with fruit fading in the background. No need to hold any further.

Still has great dark fruit. Dusty minerality, tea, tobacco. 10% petit verdo is rounded with age, but still really shows.
