Cool, savoury, quite burly.
Black currant leaf, cassis, cedar wood, a minty whiff, a gravelly undertone. Quite austere on the nose.
Quite firm on the palate, with rich, velvety yet savoury tannins. Juicy tannins, pure fruit.
Quite angular, savoury, def. better with food!

Outstanding - and peaking.

Fine grained tannins, secondary aromas in balance with primary, and well-integrated oak. Medium + body, high toned, with a lingering finish and acidity. Great with food, with incredible complexity. Dark fruits are present with some pretty herbal/mint notes, vanilla, tobacco, and additional earthiness.
