Red Blend from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. 40% Syrah, 30% each Cab Sauv and Cab Franc. Lots of plums on nose and pallet. Almost as if the fruit was too ripe. Reminded me of an Italian Primativo. Improved as it opened up a bit.

Freddy Deeb was a famous Lebanese card player. This is another world class performer from this sandy land.. It blended with the food like a slice of melted cheese on a burger - just perfect. I'm looking in tasting a few bottles from this wine abyss... I will be back
