Great QPR at $20 from garagiste. Woodsy Notes with graphite, tobacco, black tea, and hints of smoke and a bit of mushroom on the nose. Little fruit, with cedar box, tobacco, wood spice. Well structured with good acidity and drying tannins. Won't improve, but great where it is at and not declining.

Nice bottle for $20. Needs to open for at least 30 mins. Has a funky nose at the first opening that wears off after being opened. Not as much fruit. Def tobacco on the palate

Started New Years off with an aged Bordeaux from 2001. Not fancy but really good. On the lighter side but not past its prime. Easy to drink, no tannins. Drank not while cooking. From @garagiste_wine
