Quite an elegant nose dominated by an almost sweet cigar box type thing, smoky black fruit with dried floral notes along with mushroom, black olive & warm gravel.
Palate is silly with some sweet red fruit coming to the fore and some contours on the finish.

Needed to open up a bit, but quite tasty. Lots of life and power.

I think we got a counterfeit bottle. It tasted way too fresh and was the color of wine from the 2000s. It was OK but only if I paid about $25. Apparently this goes for $225. Anyone out the ever experience a counterfeit Bordeaux?
