Vintage 2009 | My favorite Petit Bordeaux from right bank Côtes de Bourg. Thirteen years old, brown rim. Utterly vital. Beautiful smell with red fruit (hint of cassis, red cherries) spicyness and some vannilla. Has lost its tannins but remains to have a strong backbone. Made to age and gains elegance with the years. From magnum. Paired with spaghetti porcini. Love affair with this wine 🙃

Vintage 2009 / My favorite ‘petit’ #bordeaux always reliable and comforting. Very true to type. Cherries and cassis in smell. Supple taste. From magnum. Not ready yet but developing nicely. Partnered with goose rillettes.

Vintage 2009 - good smell but is becoming a bit austere in taste now. It's a funny thing: wine has a life with different expressions in its youth, midlife and when it becomes more mature.

My favorite 'petit Bordeaux' for almost 35 years, always good p/q, good drinking when young and great when older and an excellent year
