This wine is young (2015) and needs an hour of airing to begin to open up.
The scent is all smoke, maybe electrical wires smoldering?
However, the taste is smooth, black fruit, a hint of spice.
A very dry red wine, medium acidity and tannins. Don't rely on tasting notes from the bottle unless you read French!
To me, this is definitely a food wine than an easy drinker. We paired it with beef goulash over a bed of egg noodles and French bread.
50% merlot - 50 % cabernet sauvignon, 13% alc.

9/19. Very nice Cab/Merlot (50-50). Dark purple, feels good on the palate. Paired well with the Iberico pork loin

Nice light, smooth blend. Excellent sipping wine or paired w/ red sauce. Did not care for it to cook with, but loved drinking it!
