Wow!!!! Didn't know Sauvignon Blanc could live 35+ years! Very aromatic with asparagus and dill on the nose. All primary fruit has given way to pretty vegetable characteristics. This is cerebral, thought provoking stuff!

This was surprisingly vibrant and fresh showing honey, stone fruits, smoke & hint of grass & cheese rind with good acidity

1978, Everyone was stunned how good this wine showed tonight. So bright and fresh showing good minerality and acid. Drinking much younger than its age.

Lemon drop, smoke, hay, crushed rock, almost sweet on the palate, amazing acidity, so bright and fresh still drinking young as this really started to sing after opening bottle 1 hr before.

Wow! What a surprise as it is drinking like a 10 yr old wine. Lemon citrus, crushed rocks, touch of fresh cut hay, nice acid that makes this seem so fresh and taste younger than its age.
