Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Mix of juicy dark fruit layers. Plums, cherries, currants, lots of spices, violet, and mineral notes throughout. Very fine and elegant and approachable. Avg. vine age 67 years.

Absolutely delicious. Flavors with a respectable and delectable taste.

++Bret. Very tannic at this stage. Hard to taste with bret obscuring.

New oak smell. Some spicy and fruity notes. High acidity and viscosity. Pronounced tannins. Easy drinker for 13.5%.

Round table tasting: great wine! Elegant wine, red berry and spice...Just over shadowed by the Vieilles Vignes.

2013 vintage. Fleshy on nose. Some black pepper notes. Bit light on palate. Chalky tannins. Balanced acidity. Short finish.
