Really smooth after it sits for an hour. Tom actually liked this one.

Too vinegary for me by itself. Good with cheese.

Ok. Getting a little loupy. But!! This was great. The aroma was amazing. Mint, eucalyptus, earth. Fantastic. Paired with truffles. Think dirt. The best dirt you ate as a 3 year old.

The commenters who suggest decanting and letting JT open are right. Starts off tight, hot, with a slight hint of vinegar. After 30 minute it's open, dried red fruit, plums, deep purple cherry, with a lot of earthiness and a hint of vanilla. Good value.
