Very disappointing. Nice fruit on attack, but empty mid palate and short finish

Toasty honey roasted nuts and sweet honey. Coffee and cream. Could use more acidity.

Needed to open up for a few days. Apricots and butterscotch. Pretty sweet. Needs another twenty years in a cool cellar.

Stunning Sauternes. Marzipan, honey, nuts, rich texture, acidity. Drinking beautifully now.

Really wonderful wine. Rich, caramel-like and fill. More body than many sauternes. All that you want Ina Sauternes and then a robustness on top of it. Really wonderful. Tasted against a 2001 Guiraud which was also lovely but thinner.
