Drinking really well right now, this is in such a great spot!! Mostly mature notes combined with some remaining youthful fruit and energy. Definitely worth looking at if you are looking for a traditional Bordeaux with some age. Don't let the Cheval Blanc look-alike label fool you though!

Pretty barnyardy even for Bordeaux. Just okay.

Luscious fruit- filled flavor of ripe plums and cherries, soft tannins but lots of future ahead.

Quite powerful and masculine with its inky, plummy, leathery mouthfeel.
Still some tannines to shed, so some room for improvement. Already approachable with air, though.
Very good!

Yep, the label looks like Cheval Blanc & this isn't that. It is a traditional medium to full bodied St Emilion which shows a fantastic balance of earthy/tobacco/cedar & black/red currants across the nose and palate. Tannins are beginning to resolve & this is in an entirely satisfying drinking window. Powerful, yet wonderfully refined.
