Tasted next to the 2003 Ch. Charmail this gets my nod as the better wine. Still a tiny bit of (rustic) tannins that needs to be resolved but I think this will provide nice drinking over the next 2-10 years.

Better than the bottle I had a year ago and 2 years ago. Seems like it’s gotten to a mature plateau

2005 hype aside, very enjoyable wine whose finish lingers on and on in your mouth

Light Cabernet nose; cassis; oak, berries, earth; mid body; round, ripe; good fruit and tannins. Long finish.

13%, a 2005 with enough age. Better the second night, soft, medium weight.
