BriO de Cantenac Brown Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend

Part of a lineup of 10 european wines my wife arranged for a birthday tasting with a number of friends.

Rich but not overpowering nose of black berry and black cherry accompanied by cocoa and floral notes. Classic Bordeaux palate of cassis, earth, and cocoa powder finishing with some cherry and medium, well integrated tannins. This, like most of the '15's I've had is very nice young.

3/21/8/5/4 + 50 = 91 pts.

Mostly merlot , about 45 percent cab. Soft

Still lots of tannin. Decant and leave for an hour or so.
