Was looking forward to the 2012 vintage but had the 2011 - still was good. I'd rate a lighter Bordeaux around 8.5 ranking total

Good with body. Bought at La Cave de la Petite Maison for ¥2,580.

Avoca Kilmacanoque, recommendation, a liitel young, perhaps too early to open, smooth, soft tannins, cherry, blackcurrant, 2011 a good year...very lovely wine, will go back for more of the same...

Subtle nose with notes of menthol, pencil lead, and baby powder. Taste offers red fruit and crisp minerality. Nice effort, especially for a value Bordeaux.
