Deep eggplant color with slight brick showing on edge, quite a bit of sediment in the wine, smells of tobacco, cherry jam and fig, medium to full body, very soft tannin and round mouthfeel, it is in complete harmony now, medium finish with aftertaste of espresso and prune. It is not a bold wine for the vintage, it aims for a smooth expression which for some, may lack a bit of sparks.
