1996 but tastes 10 years younger. Slight fade on margins, medium plus body, bold cassis aromas with a slight stewed element, cedar and woodsy secondary notes. Acidity is good, tannins are velvet, fruit is receding but still there. Long smooth finish. This is a phenomenal expression of aged Napa Cab.
