Brunello for Barolo-lovers

Absolutely a treat. Great depth

Probably our wine of the night, but I can't say I'm trading in my Burgundy card for Brunello anytime soon.

1999 vintage. Medium ruby hue. On the nose, tomato and black tea notes, mineral, complex. On the palate, medium plus acidity, medium plus alcohol, full body, high intensity and long. Very impressive. Chocolate and deep / rich. Drink now until 2027+.

Stunning aged brunello. More and more weight as it went along.
