I didn't have this wine upon release this is my first taste of the 2013. Med+ ruby with some garnet coming on. Acid and tannins softening. All in balance. Pronounced aroma and flavorof red cherry dried fig tobacco orange peel balsamic graphite dust. Really well done rosso. — 2 months ago

Call me a sucker for the more rustic edge and brawn of Brunello but this is the one that caught me even though its neighbor Cerbaiona was so alluring tonight. I just want to see where the salvioni will go to. Not that this was dirty or funk just had more stuffing. — 9 years ago

Immediately delicious upon pop-n-pour… but developed significantly over the course of a 3-4 hour decant. This stuff is simply delicious… perfectly balanced and complex. This firmly has a spot in my top 5 favorite BdMs… (which says a lot!) — 2 months ago
