Tannic fruity marriage in a glass. This is a great Spanish blend predominantly Grenache at 54%, Cabernet Sauvignon 29%, carignan 15% and Syrah 2%. It’s fruit forward and bold with a heavy backbone of tannins. After a little bit of decanting this wine really opens up and becomes lovely. Drink now or hold for up to 6 more years.

The Pasanau family are perennial growers in Priorat, with vineyards located in the highest municipality of the region, literally skirting the sheer rock wall of the Sierra de Montscant. A blend of 50% Garnacha, 20% Merlot, 20% Syrah & 10% Mazuelo and aged for 6 months in oak. Ruby with dark berry aromas and smoky spice. Cherry & Plum flavors with herb pepper notes. Big tannins, medium finish ending with smoky mineral tones.

Many great memories of great Spanish tapas at Curate with this wine. Dark cherries, strong on the palette, great with food or alone. Full bodied, great structure.
