Scoring consistently high this “Embruix” from Vall Llach. Also at 8 years this wine has still so much to offer. Fruit driven, nice acidity and tannins fading away. Super PQR!

Nose full of ripe black cherries. Lengthy finish. No need to keep it as the tanins are smooth and give it a completing mouthfeel.

Had with tapas at a tapas bar. Delicious, earthy with some fruit. A longer finish, benefits from some opening.
