Shows juicy, ripe, creamy blueberry with a bit of toasted and a fresh, mineral streak.
The magic happens on the palate - brilliant energy & depth. Great, pure, juicy, fresh blueberries with rocky minerality. Sappy, velvety tannins, vibrant acidity, so fresh.
This is brilliant stuff - complex, elegant, quite serious. And so drinkable. .

Straight out of the bottle are robust notes of pepper and smoke, peat, pine comb, mint, clove, cigar, tobacco, plum, and blackberry bramble … will update after more time to decant, but we’re very excited about this vino based on our first taste.
… after a couple of hours this wine started to soften its edges and open up. It was still so young. I’d love to try it in another ten years!

Little more high toned and angular. Several hours in the decanter followed by a few hours back in the bottle has brought out some roundedness. Started out as a 94. Now a 95. We’ll see if it gets higher. However it’ll be gone soon so won’t be able to try it tomorrow
