86% Marsanne 14% Roussanne. I’m more of a Roussanne guy, but I like this a lot. It’s got a lot of that Roussanne subtle, waxy yellow fruit character I like, and the metallic/mineral character I get out of a lot of Marsanne-heavy whites seems quite subdued. It’s got a deep earthy whiff too. The Marsanne announces itself more on the palate, but it’s reined-in nicely. Nice freshness and minerality, as well. I love the wines this co-op makes (and the modest prices!).
