White lily flower and peach notes, then a lot of mint and marigold around the cool, herbal center. Beautiful deep gold color in the glass. Great length and lean but intriguing texture; some light curry notes develop with time. I love how this variety balances the floral and the mineral, reminding me of pond lilies. Lean and juicy like fresh white peach juice.

I adore this wine. It is a wine deserving of adulation. Piedmont whites. So slept on. What a nose. Floral and exotic almost like a Viognier. Amazingly precise peach and apricot. Wow. Lavender. Floral. Such precise tropical fruit. Palate is explosive and dry. But has also huge tropical fruits and florals. Big structure like an elite St. Joseph Blanc. What balance, compactness and purity. Long with lots of pitted tropical fruits. Terrific wine and a great change of pace.

May 16th, 2021Nascetta is lovely niche grape of the Langhe. I adore it. Nose is lavender, very floral, like a Crabtree and Evelyn store. Some apple, pear and fantastic spice. Super aromatic. Sweet Meyer lemon and sweet citrus as well. Palate is terrific fruit, lemon, lime, grapefruit, intense rocky mineralIty that reminds me of Germany and terrific depth. Great structure and very dry. Great mouthfeel and superbly mineral. Like really really mineral. Some citrus pith. But while being mineral it has a great mouthfeel. Super juicy and racy. Love this.

Nice and very unique wine - had certainly never had the grape before. Somewhat less full bodied, but great precision and length.

Nose is huge florals and tropical fruit.
Palate is tropical fruit. Some minerality.
As this opens imagine like the best early season apricots with lovely tartness. Delicious. Very distinctive. Less pineapple / guava. Pure apricot as it opens.
Some wild internal aromatics. Fermented honey???
Finish is unusual. Apricot skin ?
Really a wine you want to own. Not the most complex but very different. With lobster or fois gras would be amazing.
