First bottle of this Barolo producer and disappointed. The nose had an unusual rotten fruit/garbage smell mixed with some balsamic notes, not in a good way. I was expecting the wine was destined for the sink, but the palate was not offensive at all, even if not interesting. After 90 minutes, I could stick my nose in the bowl and little improvement beyond that. First experience of it’s kind and chalking it up to a bottle issue.
