A beautiful wine that's drinking so well! #1 WS-2006. Very dark red brick violet color with very appealing, mature, dried cherry, cherry liqueur, leather, and vanilla with a hint of balsamic aromas. On the palate it's light-bodied, complex and, elegant with a silky texture. It shows dried mixed red berries, leather, and spice flavor. Long finish. A distinguished beautiful wine!

Leather, tobacco, dried raisins. A lot of sediment and full bodied but lacking length and some complexity. Pretty good though and great with steak.

18. Showing a little age at the rim, but more ruby than garnet. Nose good but not amazing. On the palate, however, perfect balance and deeply satisfying. Simply delicious. Very long, too.

Over the hill for sure, but certainly not terrible. At first the oak comes through a bit too much, but with some air the secondary raisined fruit dominates. Not in a bad way - good pairing with burgers off the grill. Hint of acid on the finish, could have used more. Still nice.

Dec 2018 and this is drinking beautifully. Dried cherry with hints of black tea and tar. A rich Brunello with a number of years to go.
