Smells great. Allowed to breathe from bottle for 1-2 hours. Nose is robust black and blue fruit with good intensity. Inky dark color. And then once we started drinking it, it was sorta flat and lifeless in comparison to the aromas. Disappointing. Maybe past it’s peak or a poorly stored bottle. Alas

Bright red fruit. Cherry on the palate with cranberry tartness on the finish. Velvety mouth-coating. tannins. Dark purple to the edge of the glass. Long finish. Rich but balanced. Still young.
