Close to on one third each Cab, Merlot, and Tempranillo. Pretty mellow tannins for this young wine. Bright, with red fruit in the foreground. From the oldest winery in the Americas.

Beautiful wine. Very sweet with a buttery aftertaste. Almost like a lighter port. Has body to it and doesn’t taste cheap.

Muy suave y ligeramente afrutado si que los tonos dulces lleguen hacer demasiado intensos, excelente para degustar. Excelente mezcla de tempranillo, cavernet y mermol

At first smell my wife remarked “old world”. There are some old world notes and considering the age of the winery that is to be expected. However, this is a young blend with powerful grapes that likely need more time to age. Definite earth tones and even leather hints on the nose and palate along with modest dark berries and even slight cinnamon. Mid palate there is a slight “bite” that belies high alcohol or just more maturing needed. Still a nice treat in Mexico and one worth having.
