Great intro to Mexican wine from one of the oldest vineyards.

Disappointed. Blackberries and plums and barnyard right out of the bottle. After a few minutes the nose clears off, but there wasn't much fruit or wood or anything left.

Day 2: much better! Spicy nose leads to strawberry and other red fruits. Light body, smooth mouthfeel, light acidity.

This one really benefited from air and time. Recommend for food.

Pretty bouquet to this wine, with bramble and grit toning down to that black cherry that must come from the Tempranillo. My first vino de Mexico. Perfect glass at this bar in Mexico City.. as this wine opens, the nose really promotes deep coffee and molé.

This was strong on the Tempranillo with a touch of the soft, suppleness of the merlot. A little too acidic for my taste, but it paired well with pizza.

Great Mexican find. Nice blend with a fruity flavor but not too much on the sweet side. Personally I think that it tastes more like Tempranillo.
