The champion red grape of Portugal and perhaps my favorite of all.

This grape always screams violets and dark fruit for me, specifically black cherries, plums and even some blueberry. The new oak blends in perfectly as you get added layers of vanilla and dark chocolate. This wine like many Tourigas has an amazing QPR and I believe it would cater to many Bordeaux, California Cab or Malbec drinkers for a better price. (10-15$) -
