75% Sangiovese with the balance a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of cherries, baking spices and purple flowers. Flavors of red cherries, baking spices, red plums, wet soil and tobacco. Medium length (slightly oaky) finish and medium-plus acidity and body. Chewy tannins. Young, but more than reasonable.
