Cantele – Chardonnay Puglia IGP 2023
Puglia, Southern Italy 🇮🇹

Overview
A 100% Chardonnay crafted in the IGP Puglia classification, showcasing the warmth and sun-drenched terroir of Southern Italy. A modern and clean style, made with grapes grown in limestone-rich soils that retain freshness while allowing for generous ripeness.

Aromas & Flavors
Fresh aromas of yellow apple, pear, and tropical hints with delicate floral undertones. On the palate, notes of ripe peach, citrus zest, and melon combine with subtle hints of almond and white flowers.

Mouthfeel
Medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a smooth, rounded texture. The finish is clean and refreshing, leaning toward a fruit-driven profile rather than oak influence.

Winemaking Notes
Fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve freshness and varietal purity. No heavy oak treatment—keeping the wine expressive, straightforward, and regionally authentic.

Food Pairing
Excellent with seafood pasta, grilled vegetables, caprese salad, and light chicken dishes. Also perfect as a casual aperitif.

Verdict
An approachable, fruit-forward Chardonnay from Southern Italy that balances freshness and easy drinkability. A great daily sipper at a very reasonable price point, showing that Puglia delivers solid value whites alongside its well-known reds.
